“Exit Park Left, Bear in Pursuit”. This 11 by 14 inch oil painting portrays a Grizzly Bear in Glacier National Park. The bear was captured on a photograph that was taken and composed by Dustin Van Wechel, one of our nation’s finest American wildlife artists, with whom I had the privilege of painting in May, 2026. This painting has been sold.
This portrait was commissioned by a very elegant woman. I painted the portrait from a good reference photo that the patron supplied.
